Janie Sanders was sitting at the lunch table by herself. College for Janie wasn't as good as she thought it would be. She had wished she had never moved from Kansas to Florida just to go to college. She looked over her shoulder at a table full of popular girls and guys. She wished she was part of that group. The next day Janie finally made a friend, Karen. She was short, had long nappy hair, wore glasses, and she was Janies new roomate. Karen and Janie became best friends. Then the next day Stacy Renolds came up to Janie and started to chat with her. Janie thought she was dreaming because she was actually talking to the most popular girl in school. Stacy had invited Janie to her house to have a sleepover with the three most popular girls in school. At the sleepover they decided if they were goign to hangout with her in public more aften then they would have to give her an extreme makeover. They got rid of her long, tangly, frizzy, brown hair and turned it into short dark brown and light brown highlights. It looked so much better than before! They also put makeup on her even though now she looked totaly fake she felt good and happy about her self for once.
